Le Tourbillon du changement

(watercolor, Acrylics mixed media on canvas and paper)

Size : 40X40cm / IN:  15,7 X 15,7

Year : 2024

In June 2024, I got the opportunity to join a special 3 days workshop at the Oceanografic Valencia. The workshop called “Art for conservation” was co-organized by one of my favorite artist : Antonio Segura “Dulk”.

Antonio invited a group of creatives to discover his work and artistic career path, sharing his knowledge and personal way to communicate about biodiversity preservation through Art.

His studio team and the Oceanografic foundation also co-organized a painting workshop where creatives were asked to create a piece inspired by the visit of Oceanographic and the work of the fondation.

I create an artwork for the occasion called “Le tourbillon du changement” that is highlighting the pressure of global warming and intensive fishing practices on the marine species and the “chain reaction” on it.
I translated and symbolized this effect through a “shattered glass” of a  mirror glass that is breaking the fragile natural balance.

This artwork is a mixed media that is combining watercolors and acrylics on paper and canvas.

The serie of artworks created as part of the “Art for conservation” workshop with be exhibited at the oceanografic Valencia at the end of 2024.
