This year I had the chance to take part in the cultural project incubator Fes!Cultura #accioclima.

My Eco-surrealism project as well as “Blue Genes oceanic community” were selected at the beginning of 2024 to be part of this program that highlights and accompany social/ecological project proposals in their development.

As a final event of this project incubator project, A festival was organized that took part in the center of Arts “Fabra I Coats” in Barcelona on the 31st of October.

I presented 3 artistic proposals as part of my Eco-surrealism & Blue Genes initiative.

Eco-Surrealism corner :

I presented 3 works during the festival. 2 paintings on canvas :

  • The Intricate Ways That Are Leading To Freedom
  • Dance Around The Fruit Tree

And presented the first artwork of the new series I’m working on : “Eco-Mythologies
that are exploring ancient cultures and their relation with their own divinities.
I’m re-imagining new divinities that are linked/inspired by nature to re-connect our modern societies with a cult of Nature.

Blue Genes Giant collaborative puzzle :

Along with the Ocean Art&Science community: “Blue Genes”, We presented a project of a “Giant Collaborative Puzzle” : “The Marine Cathedral”, that is establishing through a “game format” a dialogue between the public and scientists that are guiding the activity.
The public is reconstituting piece after piece the giant image, by answering questions and sharing opinions, possible solutions and experiences with scientists.

Surrealistic jungle decoration :

In the extension of my artistic practice, I proposed contributing to the decoration of the Fes!Cultura festival by creating decorative elements. These surrealistic lianas and compositions of flowers / leaves were used to decorate the “Fes!Cultura podcast” setup stage.
